  • Preparation :

  • 1.Add vanilla essence and beat the eggs until they are airy and fluffy.

  • 2.In another bowl, mix all the dry ingredients (all-purpose flour, sorghum flour, and baking powder).

  • 3.Cream the butter, then gradually add the icing sugar. Then add the beaten eggs in three parts. Then add the dry ingredient mixture (all-purpose flour, sorghum flour, and baking powder) in three parts, using the cut and fold method.

  • 4. Grease the baking mold/tray, add butter paper, and pour the batter into the baking tin.

  • 5. Garnish with tutti frutti on top and bake it for 15 to 20 minutes at 180°C (preheated oven).

  • 6.Take out from the oven and check with a toothpick; if it comes out clean, remove from the oven and let it cool down.

  • 7. Remove from the mold/tray, cut it, and serve it with tea or coffee.
