Step by Step method

  • Preparation:

  • 1.Wash sorghum thoroughly and soak for 5 hours.

  • 2.Add 4 cups of water and a pinch of salt to a pressure cooker.

  • 3.Add soaked sorghum to the water and cook for one whistle on high flame and one whistle on low flame.

  • 4.Remove sorghum and allow it to cool.

  • 5.Add chopped onion, cucumber, tomato, carrot, green chillies, coriander leaves, mint leaves to the sorghum.

  • 6.Add salt, chat masala, lemon juice and black salt as per your taste and mix well.

  • The refreshing sorghum salad is ready to be served.
