Step by Step method

  • Preparation :

  • 1.Heat 50 gm ghee in a medium-sized pan on a low flame for 2 minutes.

  • 2.Add cashew nuts to the ghee and heat on a low flame till cashew turns golden brown.

  • Keep aside in a bowl.

  • 3.Fry raisins in the ghee on a low flame for 1-2 seconds and keep aside in a bowl.

  • 4.Add remaining ghee in to the pan, add cloves and whole green cardamom.

  • 5.Add sorghum rawa and roast it properly in a medium flame for 3 to 4 minute.

  • 6.Add milk in to it and keep stirring to prevent lumps from forming.

  • 7.Once the mix solidifies, add sugar, and cook till it cooked well.

  • 8.Add the roasted cashew nuts, raisins, and green cardamom powder to the mix.

  • 9.Sorghum halwa is ready to be served!
