1.Separately wash black gram and sorghum with water.
2.Add methi seeds to the black gram and soak the mix for 4 hours.
3.Soak sorghum separately for 4 hours.
4.After soaking, grind black gram and sorghum separately into a smooth batter.
5.Mix both batters and add some salt.
6.Allow to ferment for about 3 hours. In cold weather,ferment overnight.
7.Add water to the batter and mix well to make a thinner consistency needed for dosa.
8.Heat the dosa tawa and grease with oil.
9.Pour a ladleful of batter on the tawa and spread into a thin round shape with the ladle.
10.Cook until the dosa is crispy.
Serve hot with chutney and sambar.
