  • 1.In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, foxtail millet, onion, ginger, garlic, green chilli, salt, pepper powder, chaat masala, 3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs and grated paneer.

  • 2.Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until they are well combined and form a smooth dough. Divide the dough into 16 equal portions and shape each portion into a lemon-sized ball.

  • 3.Take each ball and make a small indentation in the center. Place a small piece of cheese in the indentation, then gently reshape the dough to form a smooth, round ball..

  • 4.In a separate bowl, combine the all purpose flour, salt and black pepper powder. Gradually add water and prepare a lump-free slurry..

  • 5.Dip each prepared ball into the slurry, ensuring it is fully coated. Then roll the slurry- coated ball in breadcrumbs until it is evenly covered..

  • 6.Heat enough oil in a kadhai over medium heat. Carefully place a few balls at a time

  • into the hot oil.

  • 7.Fry the balls until they turn golden brown and crispy on all sides, which should take about 5 minutes. Once done, remove the fried balls and drain them on paper towels to remove excess oil.
