  • Preparation :

  • 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the bajra flour and all-purpose flour.

  • 2. Add carom seeds, black cumin seeds, baking soda, salt, and 2 tbsp oil, and mix well.

  • 3. Gradually add water and knead into a stiff dough. It should be firm and not sticky.

  • 4. Divide the dough into small portions.

  • 5. Roll each portion into a ball, then flatten and roll out into a thin circle or rectangle on a flat surface.

  • 6. Use a knife or a pizza cutter to cut the rolled dough into small diamond or rectangular shapes.

  • 7. Heat oil in a deep-frying pan over medium heat.

  • 8. Once the oil is hot, carefully add a few Namak Paras at a time. Fry them until they turn golden brown and crisp, turning occasionally to ensure even cooking.

  • 9. Once done, remove from oil and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.

  • 10. Sprinkle red chilli powder on top and serve with tea.
