Step by Step method

  • Preparation :

  • 1.Heat a pan , add 1tsp ghee , cashew, raisins, coconut  and paneer,   Stir continuously.

  • 2.Now add jaggery into it and stir again till jaggery melts properly.  Then add cardamom and keep it aside.

  • 3.Take  150gm  ragi flour and 100 gm whole wheat flour in a bowl and add water and salt (optional) to it.

  • 4.Prepare a thick batter. While preparing the batter, ensure that no lump is formed.

  • 5.Take a tawa and heat it. Take a tablespoon of the batter and spread it properly.

  • 6.Then put the coconut and paneer stuffing in the middle of that batter spread .

  • 7. Fold the spread from four sides to give it the shape of a four-folded rectangle.

  • 8.Make as many such four-folded pithas as possible.

  • 9.Take  50gm ragi flour, 50 g of jaggery, and 50gm whole wheat flour in a bowl and add water to it , prepare a smooth batter.

  • 10.Then dip the rectangular pithas into it. Subsequently, deep-fry the same in ghee until both sides of the pitha become red-brown.

  • 11.Now your ragi potali pitha is ready to serve.
