Step by Step method

  • Preparation :

  • 1. In a mixing bowl, combine ragi flour, whole wheat flour, baking soda, custard powder,

  • baking powder and a pinch of salt. Mix well to ensure the dry ingredients are mixed

  • well.

  • 2. In a separate bowl, cream together butter and palm jaggery until light and fluffy.

  • 3. Gradually add milk and mix it well.

  • 4. Then add groundnuts & dry flour mixture to the wet mixture. Use your hands or a

  • spatula to mix .

  • 5. Add milk gradually ( if required) to the mixture to form a smooth dough. The dough

  • should be soft .

  • 6. Preheat your oven to 180°C for 10 min.

  • 7. Take the dough and roll it. Add sesame seed on the upper layer. Cut the biscuits with

  • the help of cookies cutter.

  • 8. Keep each biscuits on the baking tray, leaving some space between them to allow for

  • spreading while baking.

  • 9. Place the baking tray in the preheated oven and bake the biscuits for about 15-18

  • minutes, or until they turn golden brown around the edges.

  • 10. Once baked, remove the biscuits from the oven and let them cool.

  • 11. Serve these delightful Ragi Biscuits with a hot cup of tea or coffee for a cozy snack
