1.Take jaggery , salt and Ragi flour in a mixing bowl , mix it well and keep it
aside .
2.Heat 2tbsp of ghee in a frying pan . Add bay leaves, cashew nuts and raisins.
Saute it and keep aside .
3.Take milk in a pan, one it starts to boil , add chopped coconut, grated
coconut, black pepper powder, cardamom powder, cashew , bay leaves and
raisins and let it boil.
4.Then add Ragi flour and jaggery mix in to it and stir continuously. Slowly it
will be like a thick paste and come together.
5.Take another pan, put banana leaf in to it. spread rest of the ghee and pour
all the paste in to it. Spread it evenly and level the top the pitha. Decorate with
cherry and cover the pan with a lid. Let it cook for 25 to 30 minute in a low
flame.
6.After 30 minute u can see the pitha started leaving the sides and turned
golden brown from every side. This means the pitha is done.
7.Leave it to cool down completely.
8.After that the pitha will come out of the pan easily.
9.Cut and serve it warm or cold as per choice
