1.Separately wash black gram and little millet rice with water.
2.Soak littlemillet rice and black gram separately for 4 hours.
3.After soaking, grind black gram and little millet rice separately into a smooth
batter.
4.Mix both batters and allow to ferment for about 5 hours. In cold weather, ferment
overnight.
5.Add a cup of water to the batter to make it thinner. Add salt and mix well.
6.Heat tawa and grease with a teaspoon of oil.
7.Pour a ladleful of batter on the tawa and spread into a round shape with the ladle.
8.Add grated carrot, coconut, greenchilli , tomato and coriander leafs.
9.Cook until the uttapam becomes crispy.
10.Flip it once .
11.Serve little millet uttapam hot with chutney/ curd
