1. In a pan, take some water and boil it. Add salt into it.
2. Add ragi flour and wheat flour into it. Mix everything well.
3. Switch off the flame, transfer the mixture into a bowl. Wait for a few minutes until the heat is enough to handle.
4. Then begin to knead when the mixture is still hot, sprinkling water bit by bit and knead until you get a soft dough.
5. Make 10-12 medium-sized balls from the dough.
6. Flatten the ball. Sprinkle some ragi flour on the dough ball. Start rolling the dough ball into a flat round circle.
7. Turn on the gas stove and put the tawa to make it hot. The tawa has to be sufficiently hot to make a soft chapati.
8. Place the chapati on the hot tawa. Keep the flame high.
9. First, roast one side. It should be less than half cooked or about one-fourth cooked.
10. Turn and cook the other side. This side should be a little bit more cooked than the first side. Some brown spots should be visible.
11. When the chapati has puffed well, remove and place them in a container.
12. Serve ragi chapati with any vegetable of your choice.
