  • Preparation:

  • This recipe involves three steps


  • Preparing Ragi Boondi Batter:

  • 1.Take 50 gm of ragi powder, 50 gm of bengal gram flour,chili powder, salt and water.

  • 2.Mix by hand till it becomes a thick batter.


  • Preparing Ragi Sev Batter:

  • 1.Take 50 gm of ragi powder, 50 gm of bengal gram powder,chili powder, carom seed, asafoetida, salt and water.

  • 2.Mix by hand till it becomes a thick batter.


  • Preparing the Mixture:

  • 1.Heat oil in a medium-sized pan on a medium flame.

  • 2.Pour ragi boondi batter through the boondi plate directly into the hot oil.

  • 3.Fry till they turn golden-brown and keep them aside in a bowl to cool.

  • 4.Pour ragi sev batter through the sev mould directly into the hot oil.

  • 5.Fry till they turn golden-brown and add them to the boondi to cool.

  • 6.Fry curry leaves and ground nuts and add them to the bowl to cool.

  • 7.Mix all the fried ingredients, cumin powder, mango powder,black pepper powder and rock salt.

  • Ragi mixture is ready to eat!
