Step by Step method

  • Preparation:

  • 1.Add two glasses of water to a medium-sized pan. Bring to a boil on a medium flame.

  • 2.Add a cup of water and ragi flour to a bowl. Mix well without forming lumps.

  • 3.Pour the ragi mix into the boiling water and stir continuously to prevents lumps from forming.

  • 4.Heat on a low flame for 10 minutes, after which allow it to cool.

  • 5.Mix green chilli, coriander, mint and mango ginger, and grind to a paste.

  • 6.Add curd, cumin powder, pepper powder, black salt and salt to the paste.

  • 7.Add the cooled ragi mix and six more glass of cold water to the paste and mix well.

  • Ragi challah is ready to be served!

  • Note: You may also try out jaljeera powder or chat masala for flavour instead of roasted cumin powder.
