1.Take 3-4 tbsp of lukewarm water in a large bowl and dissolve yeast in it.
2.Add sugar to the yeast and keep aside for activation for 15 minutes.
3.Add ragi flour, maida and milk to the yeast mix and knead into a smooth dough.
4.Cover the bowl and set aside for 2½ hours to allow the dough to rise.
5.Pre-heat oven to 180°C.
6.Grease the bread pan with ghee.
7.Transfer the dough into the bread pan and bake it at 180°C for 30 to 35 minutes.
8.Remove from oven and allow the bread to cool.
9.Slice the ragi bread and enjoy with your morning tea!
Note: You can replace the maida with wheat flour (atta).
You can also use this recipe to prepare bread with pearl millet (bajra) or sorghum (jawar) as well
