  • 1. Boil the required amount of water in a pot/vessel.

  • 2. Wash the rice thoroughly with water and add it to boiling water .

  • 3. Cook the rice on medium heat, allowing it to cook 70% and become soft.

  • 4. In a separate vessel, mix 1 glass of water with the ragi flour.

  • 5. Stir well to dissolve the ragi flour into the water, ensuring there are no lumps.

  • 6. Add the watery ragi mix to the boiling rice and let it cook together for 8-10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

  • 7. Add salt to taste, mixing it in evenly.

  • 8. Now Ragi Pejo is ready to serve. Enjoy it with curry or chutney.
