1. Start by washing the little millet rice and sakara separately in water to remove any impurities.
2. Mix 50gm of little millet rice with Sakara. With the help of a mortar and pestle, crush it and keep it aside.
3. In a pan/vessel, boil water. When water starts to boil, add millet rice and crushed Sakara into it.
4. Then add salt and cook it on medium heat until the millet softens and the water is absorbed.
5. Little Millet sakara rice dish is ready to serve hot with any curry or green greenleafs.
This dish is a staple among the few tribes of Odisha and is also very healthy.
