Step by Step method

  • Preparation :

  • 1. Soak Blackgram dal, Bengal gram dal and Littlemillet rice separately for min 4 hour.

  • 2. After 4 hour, take littlemillet rice, ginger and greenchilli in the grinder jar along with some water and grind them for the paste.

  • 3. Add Bengal gram dal and Blackgram dal and again grind them to get a fine paste .

  • 4. Pour the paste in a bowl, add cumin seeds, turmeric powder, salt, coriander leaves and mix all the ingredients well.

  • 5 Add some water to it. The running consistency of the batter is required for Dhuska.

  • 6 Preheat the Tawa and spread some oil to grease it. Spread the batter on the Pan while keeping the flame on medium.

  • 7. Spread some oil over it and cook for 3-4 minutes on the medium flame. Flip it and cover to cook it more for 3-4 minutes ( Spread some oil over it before flipping.).    

  • 8. Dhuska appears golden brown from both the sides, once they cooked .

  • 9. Remove and keep it aside and cook the rest of Dhuskas likewise.

  • 10.Serve it with the green chutney.
