Step by Step method

  • Preparation :

  • 1.Wash black gram, add methi seeds into it and soak the mix for 4 hours..

  • 2.After soaking, grind black gram into a smooth batter.

  • 3.Mix sorghum flour with blackgram batter and allow to ferment for about 3-4 hours.

  • 4.Mix chopped onion, green chillies, coriander leaves, cumin seeds, curry leaves, ginger

  • and salt to the fermented batter and mix well.

  • 5.Heat oil in a pan for deep frying.

  • 6.Make small round balls with the batter and flatten them lightly.

  • 7.Deep fry it in hot oil on a medium flame till they turn brown.

  • 8.Millet vada are ready to be served with coconut chutney.
