Step by Step method

  • Preparation :

  • 1. Take Ragi flour in a bowl, add cold water and slowly mix it without any lumps

  • 2. In a pan boil water, when it starts boiling add ragi mixture into it.

  • 3. Boil it on a low flame and stir continuously.

  • 4. When it starts to thicken, switch off the flame and allow it to cool at room temperature.

  • 5. In a bowl or pan, take ragi porridge.

  • 6. Mix it well until it becomes smooth.

  • 7. Add fresh chilled curd, sugar, and cold milk. The consistency of this lassi is neither thick nor thin.

  • 8. Keep on whisking until the sugar dissolves to get froth on the top.

  • 9. Now add crushed cardamom powder and rose water. Mix it well.

  • 10. Add ice cubes, cashew, raisin, cherry, and sliced almonds.

  • 11. Pour ragi lassi into a glass and serve. Add a few ice cubes.

  • 12. Garnish with chopped dry fruits like cashew nuts, raisins, grated coconut, etc., and serve.
