Sorghum Salad

Ingredients

  1. Sorghum - 200 gm
  2. Tomato - 50 gm
  3. Carrot - 100 gm
  4. Onion - 1 pc green chillies
  5. Cucumber - 1 pc Add salt
  6. Green Chilli - 20 gm
  7. Lemon ½ pc
  8. Chat masala - 2 tbs
  9. Coriander - 20 gm
  10. Mint leaf - 20 gm
  11. Black salt as per taste
  12. Salt as per taste

Directions

  1. Wash and soak sorghum for 5 hours.
  2. Take a pressure cooker and add 2 glasses of water and a pinch of salt to it.
  3. Add soaked sorghum to water and pressure cook it for two whistles.
  4. Remove sorghum and allow it to cool in a bowl.
  5. Add chopped onion, cucumber, tomato, Carrot, green chillies, chopped coriander leaf, mint leaf to cooked sorghum.
  6. Add salt, chat masala, lemon juice and black salt (as per taste).
  7. Mix it well.
  8. Sorghum salad is ready to be served.
